How to contribute

We can't fix what we can't measure.

Access to data about our police system is the foundation of any research, advocacy, journalism, accountability, or reform.

We work to increase access to critical public records for everyone, one agency at a time.

How we spend our time

  • Building the next version of our Data Sources database, helping people answer questions about the police.
  • Connecting volunteers with data skills to impactful projects in need of timely help.
  • Sharing strategies for collecting and sharing public records with people actively working on our police systems.

We're a small organization, so a little goes a long way.

PDAP is a non-profit, so your donations may be tax deductible.
